Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Tasty Nigiri and Sashimi. Nicely presented dishes. Appetizer butter roasted squid took a long time. Sometimes the server was not available when needed.

Unfortunately, this was a really disappointing experience. We waited over 30 minutes before our server even brought our drinks. When I politely mentioned the wait, she responded with an attitude. Things only got worse from there. Food arrived cold, and the uni dish was served without any uni!! When I asked about it, the server abruptly said they were out. If that's the main ingredient, why serve the dish at all instead of letting us know beforehand so we could order something else? (Photos of the uni-less dish below) Between the poor service, cold food, and server being rude to our table, it wasn't the experience we expected. I won't be returning.

Michelle was a wonderful server! I had a small issue with the eel and avocado roll I ordered for lunch, and they replaced it immediately with something I enjoyed much better. She was also great with the toddler we had with us. Thank you so much!!! We'll be returning.

Anytime Iβm visiting Raleigh I love to pop in here! The sushi is always fresh and their presentation is on point. Aurora was an excellent server this last trip in. I like that they have decent options for my friends and family that are vegan as well.

Great patio seating that is dog friendly with reasonable prices for sushi! The menu was delicious from the foie gras and uni and hamachi Kama appetizer, to the sushi for 2! Drinks were also delicious and service was great. So nice to find a place to have dinner with our dog as well!
